  1. About OpenLoop

How OpenLoop Works

The network operates through the OpenLoop Sentry Node Extension, which allows users to share unused bandwidth seamlessly. Here’s how it works:

  1. Bandwidth Sharing: Once you install the extension, your device shares a small fraction of unused bandwidth with OpenLoop’s decentralized network. This bandwidth is securely redirected to support AI research and other large-scale data processing needs.

  2. Proof of Backhaul, Location, and Frequency: OpenLoop uses advanced verification mechanisms to ensure the network remains secure, transparent, and trustworthy. These proofs validate user contributions without compromising personal data or security.

  3. Reward System: In return for sharing bandwidth, users earn rewards, turning their internet connectivity into a passive income source.

  4. Support for AI Development: OpenLoop contributes to building a scalable, data-rich infrastructure for AI companies, enabling them to process massive datasets efficiently and securely.
