Through Node Operation
When you connect your device to the OpenLoop Network, it becomes a node. As an operator, your node contributes to the network by relaying web requests to public web servers. Each request processed by your node earns you points, calculated based on the following criteria:
Node Uptime: Maintaining a stable connection ensures your node stays operational. The longer your node is active, the more requests it can process, directly increasing your point earnings.
Data Packets Processed: Each web request processed by your node (sent as encrypted data packets) contributes to your total points. Packets are authenticated through digital signatures to ensure the integrity and security of the network.
Node Reputation Scoring: Your node’s performance is evaluated using a reputation score. A higher reputation score boosts your point earnings. The reputation score is determined by the following metrics:
Completeness: Ensures the data relayed by your node is complete and intact.
Consistency: Verifies uniformity across data sets processed by your node.
Timeliness: Measures whether your node processes requests promptly.
Availability: Checks the reliability of your node in providing data when required.
Nodes with higher reputation scores are prioritized for processing requests, which results in higher point earnings.
